1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how BPrime Assets Limited (“BPrime”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the BPrime Projects platform (projects.bprimeassets.com) and our corporate website (bprimeassets.com), (together, the “Services”), and the choices available to you regarding their use.

This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not otherwise defined have the meanings given to them in our Privacy Policy.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website, widely used to make websites function efficiently and provide information to website operators. They may be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (remaining until they expire or are deleted).

We also use related technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs), collectively referred to as “Cookies” unless otherwise specified.

3. How We Use Cookies

We use Cookies for the following purposes:

  • To enable core functionality, including secure login, Single Sign-On (SSO) session management, Project data handling, and the Contract Tools;
  • To remember your preferences and settings between visits;
  • To understand how Users interact with Project creation, funding, and Contract Tools so that we can improve performance and usability;
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, unauthorised access, and security incidents, including in relation to contract execution;
  • To measure the effectiveness of, and where applicable personalise, communications about our Services (subject to your consent, where required).

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These Cookies are essential for the Platform’s operation and cannot be switched off. They enable SSO authentication, maintain your logged-in session, support secure payment processing through Paystack, facilitate the secure generation and electronic execution of contracts via the Contract Tools, and protect against fraudulent activity.

4.2 Functional Cookies

These Cookies allow the Platform to remember your preferences (such as saved contract templates or dashboard views) and provide enhanced, more personalised features.

4.3 Performance and Analytics Cookies

These Cookies collect aggregate information about how Users interact with Project creation, funding, and management features, helping us improve Platform performance. Non-essential analytics Cookies are only set with your consent.

4.4 Security Cookies

We use Cookies to support fraud detection, bot mitigation, and account security monitoring, including monitoring around contract execution events.

4.5 Third-Party Cookies

Certain features rely on Cookies set by trusted third parties, including our Payment Processor, Paystack, and any e-signature or document infrastructure providers we engage. We do not control third-party Cookies directly; their use is governed by the relevant third party’s own cookie and privacy policies.

6. Your Cookie Choices

6.1 Browser Controls

Most browsers allow you to control Cookies through their settings. Disabling Strictly Necessary Cookies will prevent you from logging in, authenticating via SSO, completing transactions, or using the Contract Tools, as these Cookies are essential to core functionality.

6.2 Consent Management

Where required by Applicable Law, we present a cookie consent mechanism on your first visit, allowing you to accept or decline non-essential categories of Cookies. You may withdraw or update consent at any time via the Platform’s cookie settings, where available, or by contacting legal@bprimeassets.com.

6.3 Do Not Track

As there is no universally accepted standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Platform does not currently respond to them, though we remain committed to giving you meaningful choices over non-essential Cookies as described above.

7. Retention of Cookie Data

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period (typically thirty (30) days for functional cookies up to twenty-four (24) months for certain security and fraud-prevention cookies) or until deleted manually. Analytics data is retained in aggregated or pseudonymised form for as long as reasonably necessary.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the Cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be notified in accordance with Section 15 of our Privacy Policy.
